Does anyone else find is deeply disturbing that there's so much politics and money involved in the judicial system in Texas that there's wide agreement that there isn't a single trustworthy, unbiased judge who could possibly hear the DeLay case?

The really scary thing is that this is the state that sentences the most people to death. Do we really want people we can't trust authorizing the state to kill people?
