I woke up when my alarm would have gone off even though it was turned off and I don't have to be at work until 4:30. I hate when that happens, especially since I went to bed relatively late. I did manage to fall asleep for another 3 hours afterwards though.

I had a dream that there was a bright green spider in my apartment that could jump really high and I couldn't see because I was wearing my glasses instead of my contacts. Then, after I managed to kill it with spray-bleach, a millipede started coming after me. Those things are freaky. I killed it too.

I wondered, after I was awake for a while, whether the spider had anything to do with seeing last night that Connie and I both got "Ananse the Spider" on the Trickster test. If I believed in that sort of thing, I might think Ananse was trying to contact me, but really, if a trickster god was going to bother me I'm sure it would be Hermes or Coyote, not the one I've never heard of.

Anyway, on my way to Sushi Too for lunch I got to flip off and yell at a bad driver. I'm really starting to become belligerent toward the morons who don't understand how turn signals and traffic lights work. I'm beginning to think the biggest problem with the War on Drugs isn't the ethical issue of putting millions of people in jail for nonviolent "crimes" of definition, but the more practical issue of using lots of valuable police officers to hunt down these nonviolent criminals when they'd be much better employed as traffic cops, beating the crap out of yuppie scum in SUVs who endanger innocent pedestrians and people who actually know how to drive their cars. Eat the rich! NHGH!

I just can't wait for the 7.5 hours of sitting around doing nothing at work that awaits me. wheeeee.
