We’ve been forced, partly because we were hit on 9/11, to come to grips with that very real possibility that the next attack could involve far deadlier weapons than anything the world had ever seen.
- Dick Cheney

Umm, they used box cutters on 9/11, you moron. You know, much less deadly weapons than have been used in war since, well, about 6000 years ago. Sure they used them to hijack planes and kill a few thousand people, but they were armed with box cutters, not Daisy Cutters or MOABs or hydrogen bombs.

And they weren't Iraqi.

well, yes, but they were highly sophisticated space age polymer state-of-the-art box cutters, the likes of which were unlike anything the world had ever seen.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure Saddam refuses to destroy his country's supply of box-cutters, which makes him a pretty obvious threat.
